Childhood friends Christine and Katy grew up in the kitchen sharing a mutual passion for beautiful food and subsequently founded Squash Blossom Kitchens.
Christine Roberts is a classically trained chef and graduate of the Italian Culinary Academy. During her studies, she apprenticed at the acclaimed Cibus restaurant in Apulia, Italy and went on to hold positions as garde manger and sous chef in Atlanta-area eateries specializing in Italian and Southern cuisines, respectively. Prior to embarking on her professional culinary journey, Christine graduated with a business degree from Wake Forest University and worked as an IT consultant. Christine is a yoga enthusiast and relishes in-town living with her family.
Having enrolled in her first cooking class at age 3, Katy Watson has studied cooking informally both domestically and abroad and previously worked in brand management for Fortune 500 corporations prior to founding Squash Blossom Kitchens. Katy enjoys running, is an animal lover, and resides in the suburbs of North Atlanta with her family.
